First Project

I know this is a little early, but I'm in the spirit. Happy Halloween! Anyway, I created my first project today. I used alot of different tools and shapes in the development of this project. I used primitive drawing on the background mostly, which I prefer to do, for the exception of the pumpkins hat with the brim. I used object drawing on the ghost, the pumpkin, and the moon.
Using the Bezier curve, I used this on the yellow eyes. I started at one point, then selected a second point from a distance curving the line to what I needed, then came back to the original point curving the line the way I wanted. Filled the shape in yellow, copied, pasted the same image, and flipped it horizontally to get the other eye. For the iris's I did the same thing but instead of three points, I did it in two points.
For the pencil, I used it to write 'Trick or Treat!' on the patio. The paint brush, I used some detail work using different elements of the brush on the grass,(gradiant radial green to dark purple) bush leaves around the eyes, stars and moon. I also used a modified gradiant on the text lettering.
In all, I prefer using the paint brush, because I think I can do many things with it to detail things.
