
Here is one of the images that I made. I just used the rectangle tool to make the solid black background. Then I used the spray can tool to make the stars with random sampling turned on. Next was the sun which was an oval with a gradient for the color. I made the orbits of the planets next, which were ovals that I rotated and skewed. Then I made the rest of the planets. The blue and red one were gradients as well, and the brown one is the only primitive object in this drawing and a solid color. I made the rocket next with a rectangle and pencil, and then the paint brush for the flames.
I think the tool that I enjoyed the most was the paint brush after I plugged my Wacom tablet into my computer. I used it a lot in the drawing below and pretty much the paintbrush most of the drawing. I mainly use it in Photoshop with my photos, but thought I would try something new. I am not the best drawer I am finding out. :)
