Like Nathaniel I have been really sick lately, and been taking lots of cold medicine to get better. I am usually a really creative person but this project, ( with me being sick) really gave me a few headaches.
I used all of the tools we were supposed to use. The merge objects were real tricky to work with. I used object drawing for the buildings and the windows. I also changed and personalized the gradients on each building to make them unique. I used primitive shapes to make the stars in the sky and the headlights on the bridge. I used the pencil tool to make some of the fireworks.
I have to say the pen tool is my greatest enemy I worked the longest trying to get it to work for the bridge. I have never had good luck with the pen tool. I modified the text by changing it's color, size, and breaking it apart. Definitely a tricky project. Would have been easier to do if I hadn't been sick.
